The 2022 Pantone Colour of the Year has been announced! For the first time, the award goes to a newly created Pantone colour, Very Peri, 'whose courageous presence encourages inventiveness and creativity'. Encompassing the qualities of blue, whilst possessing a violet-red undertone, Very Peri is a wonderful colour choice.

The selection of a strong blue-violet colour has come as little surprise to us here at Montal Jewellers. After a strong focus on pink tones throughout 2020 and 2021, our clients are loving purple this year. ​

Although we’ve enjoyed the ability to connect with our clients online, there’s something special about the experience of sitting down with a client and sketching out their vision, building out from an initial concept to a finished jewellery design. And whilst we are blessed with fine jewellery that shines in photos, there is nothing like feeling the weight of a solid gold ring in your hand, or experiencing first hand the depth of colour in a top quality ruby and radiant brilliance of a superbly cut diamond.
